US Warns Troops of Potential Threat Amid Israel and Hamas Conflict
The United States has noticed the prospects of further attacks on its troops in the Middle East amid the escalation of Israel and Hamas to a broader region. Thus, the Pentagon – both US diplomats and defense – warned the troops of this threat, According to Alarabiya.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Lloy Austin, the Defense Secretary, have stated that the United States did not want to see the conflict between Israel and Hamas spread. Additionally, Austin warned groups that try to widen the conflict between Israel and Hamas not to take advantage of the current situation.
Casualties in Israel and Hamas Conflict
The casualties in Gaza have been growing each day as tension in the conflict between Israel and Hamas rises. In the current situation, Israel’s air strikes have killed over 4,700 people.
According to TOI, an escalation may likely happen, given the situation between Israel and Hamas right now. Although Secretary Blinken stressed that this shouldn’t happen, however, the possibility remains.
