US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Confirms US Provided Assistance Within Hours of Hamas Attack on Israel
According to The Messenger, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has confirmed that the US provided assistance within hours of the horrific attack by Hamas towards Israel.
The US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated that the US began moving warships and aircraft to the region to provide Israel with whatever it needed to respond. Moreover, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will arrive in Israel on Friday to meet with Israeli leaders to discuss what assistance is needed that the US can provide.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Says Weapons and Special Operations Forces are Provided to Israel
According to AP News, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that weapons, special operations forces, navy ships, planes, and Air Force warplanes had been provided to the Israelis.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austine also stated that the special operation forces are now providing Israelis with intelligence and planning advice and consultations on hostage recovery efforts. However, Israeli Defence Forces have not been tasked with hostage rescue, as it would put them on the ground fighting in the conflict.
