The Baltimore authorities have made progress in investigating the Morgan State University shooting as they have successfully apprehended one of the suspects. However, the search for the second suspect is still ongoing.

One of Morgan State University Shooting Suspect Arrested

Authorities in Baltimore have arrested one suspect in connection with the Morgan State University shooting last week, which left five people injured, according to SCRIPPS.

Baltimore police state that the 17-year-old suspect in the Morgan State University shooting was arrested in Washington, D.C., on Thursday and charged with multiple counts of attempted murder.

Search for the Second Suspect of the Morgan State University Shooting Continues

According to WPTV, authorities in Baltimore are currently searching for 18-year-old Jovan Williams, the second suspect in the Morgan State University shooting. They have stated that they will not rest until he is in custody.

The police authorities believed that apprehending the suspects responsible for the shooting at Morgan State University would bring a sense of peace and justice to the victims, the Morgan community, and the city. However, it’s crucial to acknowledge that this action cannot undo the trauma and damage that has been inflicted upon the victims of the Morgan State University shooting.

Following the Morgan State University shooting, the school will upgrade its security by installing a wall, metal detectors, and a guard booth at the entrance.
