The Arianespace Vega rocket launch was canceled after an interruption in the countdown clock turned the status red.
Arianespace Released a Postponement of Vega Rocket Launch
Arianespace has just announced that the Vega rocket launch has been postponed due to a measurement that has exceeded the maximum threshold during the final countdown phase. This precautionary measure has been taken to ensure the safety and successful Vega rocket launch.
According to the official press release, the team is currently carrying out additional checks in order to execute a fresh Vega rocket launch on Saturday. Fortunately, both THEOS-2 and FORMOSAT-7R/TRITON are reported to be in stable and secure condition.

12 Satellites to Orbit Tonight with Vega Rocket Launch
SPACE reports that the Vega rocket launch may be possible tonight (October 7) carrying 12 satellites to orbit as the first mission of the year.
Following the postponement of the Vega rocket launch due to the red status in the final minute, the rocket may be able to continue its mission.
The Vega debuted in February 2012 and has flown 22 times to date which explains that the latest Vega rocket launch mission would be VV23, and will be the first for the standard Vega variant since 2021.
