According to the lottery, the three new millionaires won their prizes Scratchers tickets in San Francisco, Fremont, and Livermore. According to the lottery, Wendy Ake Bautista of San Francisco was the lucky winner of the top prize on an Xtreme Multiplier Scratchers ticket. It was in Los Primos Gift Shop where she purchased the ticket. According to the lottery’s announcement, Ivan Gonzalez Gamboa of Fremont won a million dollars playing a Cloud 9 Scratchers ticket that he purchased at SBC Liquors on Grimmer Boulevard.
Carl Phillips of Livermore was the big winner after playing a Diamond 8’s Scratchers ticket that he purchased at Fast & Easy Mart and using it to play the game. According to the California Lottery, there were also two other million-dollar Scratchers wins in Northern California. One of these wins took place at a taco truck in the city of Patterson, which is located in Stanislaus County, while the other took place at a liquor store in Stockton. Officials from the lottery have stated that any companies that participated in the sale of Scratchers tickets and contributed to the jackpot will be eligible for a bonus of $5,000. In the meantime, the projected value of the Powerball jackpot for Monday’s drawing has increased to 1.04 billion dollars.
