Sixth-Generation Fighters: Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD)
According to Airforce Technology, the US Air Force is constantly developing military craft to be used. Aerial warfare crafts are mostly the ones they’re trying to evolve.
One of the fighter jets they are evolving and developing is the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD). The Next Generation Air Dominance is referred to as the sixth-generation crewed jet which can replace the F-22 Raptor.
Next Generation Air Dominance is Expensive but Worth Every Penny
According to The National Interest, the development of the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) is so expensive, however, USAF says it is worth every penny due to its superior capabilities. Not only the U.S. thinks about this but there are 17 other countries who have also placed orders for Next Generation Air Dominance.
The Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) has a lot of capabilities including propulsion, meaning there are advanced cycles in the jet that will offer more power, more fuel, and better heat regulation. Moreover, it is an unmanned jet, and the sensors and materials are top tier with 80% of inbound radar waves.
