ABC-7 reports Costco is now offering a new service in partnership with Sesame, a medical provider nationwide. The partnership offers Costco health checkups for members which can be accessed in 50 states.
The Costco health checkups will begin on Monday, members can book health care visits directly through their memberships nationwide. The services can be checked out on Costco’s Pharmacy’s homepage including care visits for Costco health checkups that are only $29.
Costco Health Checkups: Costco Becomes One of The Many Retailers to Provide Health Care
According to KCRA, Costco has become one of the retailers that provides health care services with Costco health checkups. Among the retailers is Amazon with Amazon Clinic which was launched in November 2022, offering 24/7 access to healthcare providers on Amazon’s website and mobile app. Moreover, other retailers that provide health care services are CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart.
In conclusion, providing Costco health checkups to consumers is one of the best things that Costco has done considering the urgent care access outside of a traditional hospital setting booms.
