According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, Jamarcus Glover, 33, is accused of committing an organized crime and is also accused of engaging in illegal drug transactions with minors, and conspiracy to Drug Trafficking Offense.

According to the arrest citation, Glover and two other individuals have been charged with employing children to carry and sell illegal substances like heroin, fentanyl, and other drugs. Several firearms and a significant amount of drugs were found when authorities carried out a search warrant at a residence in the Taylor Berry neighborhood.

On March 13, 2020, the police were called to Breonna Taylor’s house because they thought Glover was keeping money and drugs there. He was also among several persons detained in a drug investigation roughly 10 miles from Taylor’s South End house in Louisville.

Following a shot from Taylor’s then-boyfriend Kenneth Walker hitting one of the police, three officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department opened fire on her residence. Walker later said that because he did not hear the police make an announcement, he thought the policemen were intruders.

Taylor was shot and killed by the officers as a result.

The investigation found that Glover had left Taylor’s apartment in January 2020 carrying a “suspected USPS package” and traveling to a “known drug house,” according to the search warrants for Taylor’s property.

Joshua Jaynes, the LMPD detective who was in charge of obtaining the order, reportedly stated in a statement at the time that he had checked with the American government. Despite claims from the Postal Service that Glover had picked up packages at Taylor’s house, this was not the case.

The information in the search warrant, according to Glover, was false and misleading, and Taylor had no connection to any unlawful drug trafficking.

It was determined following the examination of Taylor’s residence that no prohibited substances were present.

While Black Lives Matter defended Taylor after the incident, Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer, criticized the Kentucky state representative Attica Scott (D) and the Louisville Black Lives Matter chapter in April 2021 for allegedly exploiting Taylor to raise money or advance political causes.
