Laser Guide Star Decorated the Night Sky
SPACE reports that a laser guides star beams through the star trails. In the new image shared by the European Southern Observatory (ESO), the laser guide stars were seen trailing across the night sky.
The laser guide stars that beamed through the night sky were two bright orange lasers. It is called laser guide stars as it is used to correct the distortion of starlight caused by Earth’s atmosphere.
The laser guide stars that shone were pointed in opposite directions because the long exposure took several hours to complete during the photo taking of the beautiful laser guide stars.
