Two people were arrested after a 1-year-old boy and three others were injured due to alleged fentanyl exposure at the Bronx daycare center on Friday.

SOURCE– A man and a woman, Carlisto Acevedo and Grei Mendez, were arrested on Saturday night and faced multiple charges of murder, manslaughter, assault, criminal possession of a controlled substance and narcotic drug, and endangering the welfare of a child. A 1-year-old boy died, and three others were injured due to alleged fentanyl exposure at the Bronx Daycare Center on Friday.
According to an article by Eyewitness News, Otoniel Feliz sent his 1-year-old son, Nicholas Dominici, to daycare in the Bronx for just a week before his son was found dead there. First responders were summoned on Friday afternoon when they heard a report of cardiac arrest at the Divino Nino Daycare located at 2707 Morris Ave. in Kingsbridge.
They found a drug production inside the home-based daycare and were suspected of the death of Nicholas Dominici and the hospitalization of three other young children. Law enforcement believes that the impacted Nicholas Dominici and the other young children suffered from fentanyl exposure. The suspects’ relationship has not been made clear at this time.
