As per the report of BBC News, the number of cases of COVID is increasing in the US and other countries, though at far lower rates than they were early in the pandemic.
The CDC’s recommendations are different from those of the UK and most of Europe.
That was the topic that was brought up again and time again by Gov. Ron DeSantis, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, and three medical professionals who joined the video call on X, the platform that replaced Twitter, where the announcement was made.

In Contrast To The UK And Most Of Europe, The CDC Makes Distinct Recommendations
From the same article, the UK government will provide boosters to those over the age of 65, younger individuals in clinical risk categories, frontline healthcare providers, and others who interact with the most vulnerable members of society.
Those over 60 and other vulnerable groups should be given priority, according to the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, which has made this recommendation to EU nations.
“We continue to live in a world where the [Food and Drug Administration] and the CDC are just beating their own path in a direction that seems inexplicable,” Dr. Ladapo added.
