Former President George W. Bush was shocked to discover he was served by Wagner mercenary group boss Yevgeniy Prigozhin during a dinner in St. Petersburg with Russian President Vladimir Putin more than 17 years ago.

“All I Know Is I Survived”-George W. Bush Says

According to an article by Taegan Goddard, Former President George W. Bush was surprised to discover he was served by Yevgeniy Prigozhin during a dinner with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg more than 17 years ago. He didn’t recall meeting Yevgeniy Prigozhin, but when he saw the picture it made him shocked that it was Yevgeniy Prigozhin who served him dinner when he was with President Vladimir Putin.

According to an article by Matthew Loh, the photograph was captured on July 14, 2006, when George W. Bush and his wife had a dinner with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He learned that it was Wagner’s leader, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, who served their dinner that time. Yevgeniy Prigozhin was Putin’s chef. He was the one who catered food to President Vladimir Putin. 

George W. Bush has been asked about the plane crash that killed Yevgeniy Prigozhin, but he said what made him shocked was to discover that Yevgeniy Prigozhin was the guy serving him food. George W. Bush said he didn’t remember meeting Yevgeniy Prigozhin, instead he said, “All I know is I survived”.
