NASA Astronauts Prepare for Soyuz Launch
SPACE reports that the esteemed NASA astronauts are preparing for the Soyuz launch this coming Friday, September 15. The NASA astronauts preparing are O’Hara, Oleg Kononenko, and Nikolai Chub.
On Friday morning, NASA astronauts O’Hara, along with two other individuals, are scheduled to take off on the Roscosmos Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. This liftoff marks the next chapter in space exploration and inspires millions worldwide.

NASA Astronauts’ Mission on Space
According to Space Coast Daily, NASA astronauts have different missions in space. NASA astronauts O’Hara will have a 6-month mission aboard the station, while Kononeko and Chub will spend a year on the orbital outpost.
Moreover, the three NASA astronauts will join the space station’s Expedition 69 crew of NASA astronauts Jasmin Moghbeli and Frank Rubio, Roscosmos cosmonauts Dmitri Petelin and Konstantin Borisov, along with Sergey Prokopyev from the expedition, ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen, and JAXA astronaut Satoshi Furukawa.
The Soyuz launch will be the first spaceflight of the NASA astronauts O’Hara and Chub, while Kononenko has flown four times before.
