Emma Coronel Aispuro to Be Release From Prison
NECN reports that the wife of the drug kingpin, Emma Coronel Aispuro, 34, is set to be released from the Long Beach Residential Reentry Management in Los Angeles on September 13, Wednesday.
The Bureau of Prisons confirmed in an official statement that Emma Coronel Aispuro had been projected for a release date. However, the officials did not say further about the specific release plans for privacy, safety, and security reasons.

Drug Lord’s Wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, Sentenced to Prison in 2021
According to The Guardian, Emma Coronel Aispuro was sentenced to prison in 2021 after she pleaded guilty to three counts of helping her husband by distributing illegal drugs and laundering money. Moreover, she also engaged in financial dealings.
Emma Coronel Aispuro was only sentenced to three years for the reason that she quickly accepted her responsibility and agreed to forfeit a million and a half dollars from her criminal activity to the U.S. government. Thus, Emma Coronel Aispuro’s years of sentence in prison was reduced.
Further, Emma Coronel Aispuro’s husband, El Chapo, is serving a life sentence in the US after being convicted on murder conspiracy and drug charges in 2019.
