On Labor Day, a young Los Angeles couple was shot and killed while sitting in their parked vehicle with their 1-year-old child, according to authorities.
According to a press release from the Los Angeles Police Department, a suspect shot and killed 21-year-old Carlos Loera and 18-year-old Ashley Guzman approximately 6:30 p.m. Monday in Harbor City, a Los Angeles neighborhood.
In the recent published article by FOX News, as per to authorities, officers from the Harbor City neighborhood responded to an “ambulance shooting” report.
When cops arrived, they discovered a male victim, later identified as Loera, and a female victim, later identified as Guzman, both with gunshot wounds.
The shooting were the young couple were shot and killed was gang-related, according to the LAPD, and no description of the culprit was given.

Loera was declared dead at the spot, while Guzman was transferred to the hospital and eventually died, according to investigators.
According to FOX 11, the baby of the young Los Angeles couple who were shot and killed, who was in a booster seat in the rear, was not hurt in the gunshot, according to officials at first. They then revealed that the kid had been hit by a gunshot fragment. The baby was treated at a nearby hospital before being released to family members.
Tuesday night, a candlelight vigil was organized near the intersection of 253rd Street and Marigold Avenue, near the scene of the shooting where the young Los Angeles couple were shot and killed.
