According to the report, the Ingenuity Mars helicopter demonstrated its 56th time visiting the planet and stayed there for 2.5 minutes. The Ingenuity Mars helicopter landed with the Perseverance Rover, accomplishing a remarkable feat by executing powered flight on the Red Planet despite the planet’s notoriously thin and challenging atmospheric conditions.
The successful feat of the Ingenuity Mars helicopter has made NASA grant them a mission extension to life-hunt, sample-collecting Perseverance.

According to India Today, the goal of the Ingenuity Mars helicopter’s mission was to reposition the spacecraft, with the craft heading northwest at a maximum speed of 5.3 meters per second.
The mission of the Ingenuity Mars helicopter has racked up some impressive numbers during its 56th time on the Red Planet. The mission members wrote on the Ingenuity Mars helicopter’s flight log that the craft stayed on the planet for more than 100 minutes, which was an incredible achievement.
