On her way home from collecting a lottery jackpot, a Maryland woman stopped and purchased a Pick 5 ticket, which earned her an additional $50,000.
Victoria Sadler, 59, of Nottingham, informed Maryland Lottery authorities she was on her way to Royal Farms on Washington Boulevard in Baltimore after collecting a progressive jackpot in the Fast Play Home Run Riches Second-Chance drawing.
In the recent published article by UPI, Sadler bought a Pick 5 ticket for her grandson’s birthday. Last year, the same figures garnered her a $25,000 prize.
The grandson’s birthday numbers were even more fortunate the second time around, as she won a $50,000 prize in Maryland Lottery.
“When I realized I had won, my jaw dropped to the floor! I was so happy, I couldn’t believe it,” Sadler explained.
