A 23-year-old man faces charges of murder in the death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son.
Police claim Latrell Lewis killed his girlfriend’s son, Nasir Paris, on Sunday, and that the toddler was discovered unconscious and covered in bruises inside the house. At the hospital, Parris was declared dead.
In the recent published article by News12 Brooklyn, Lewis, who faces charges of murder, which are the second-degree murder and three counts of manslaughter. As per to the criminal complaint, Lewis, who faces charges of murder, was in sole control of Paris on Sunday before noon.
According to the complaint, the defendant who faces charges of murder, claimed that he pushed Paris off a bed, causing the 2-year-old to land his head on a ground vent.
As per to the criminal complaint, the medical examiner’s officer identified the cause of death as many instances of inflicted blunt force trauma to Paris’s head and torso.

Chamiqua Thomas, Paris’ mother, said her son had no bruises prior to being in Lewis’ custody.
According to EyeWitness News, he was imprisoned without bail. As per to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, Lewis, who faces charges of murder, next scheduled court date is September 6.
Lewis, who faces charges of murder, has previously been arrested for reckless driving.
