A mother with her two toddlers was fatally stabbed in a New York City murder-suicide. Police officers suspected the father, Edison Lopez, murdered his wife and two toddlers before taking his own life.

SOURCE– Edison Lopez, 41, has become a suspect in stabbing his wife and two toddlers in a New York City murder-suicide before taking his own life. His wife, Aleksandra Witek, is a former city teacher and was described as an incredibly loving and devoted mom to her two toddlers, Lucian and Calvin, 3-year-old and 1-year-old respectively. These two toddlers loved playing with their toys and story time with mom.
Police officers found them killed in the apartment with Edison Lopez, her fiance. Edison Lopez worked as the superintendent of the building at 328 W. 86th St. on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Also, Edison Lopez was found dead with a stab wound to his neck and a knife by his side.
Police officers said they were asked to check Aleksandra Witek because she missed family commitments and was not responding to messages and calls. Police officers discovered that Witek with her two toddlers were tragically killed. During their investigations, they suspected Witek’s fiance, Edison Lopez, who killed Witek and two toddlers in a NYC murder-suicide before taking his own life.
