SOURCE– A North Carolina man, David Morris, started hyperventilating after he won $1 million on a Mega Millions ticket earlier this month. David Morris asked his sons to choose his lottery numbers. David Morris said that he does not typically play Mega Millions but after he saw the big jackpot he decided to buy a Mega Millions ticket in Pineville.
David Morris cannot believe that he is the new Mega Millions winner after he matched the numbers on all five white balls to win $1 million. Morris immediately called his wife for the good news and told her to home right away. he bought the $1 million ticket from 7-Eleven on South Polk Street in Pineville.
David Morris has already claimed his $712,501 prize at lottery headquarters after deducting the federal and state tax withholdings. He planned to buy land in the Smoky Mountains where his wife is from. It is good to see a $1 million Mega Millions winner like David Morris in North Carolina, said Executive Director of the N.C.
