US Unwittingly Spewing Russian Propaganda
According to an article issued by CNN, a report on a newly declassified US intelligence planned to show how Americans may be spewing laundered Kremlin Propaganda. But now, because of the unwitting US and Western targets may be guilty of spreading Russian false information without even knowing it. Russian intelligence is now operating a systematic program to prepare pro-Kremlin propaganda through private relationships among Russian operatives and unwitting US and Western targets.
The US intelligence believed that the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) was trying to influence public policy and opinion in the West by directing Russian people to build relationships with influential US and Western individuals and disseminate narratives that support Kremlin objectives. The US official commented that the influence operations were designed to be deliberately small-scale and built primarily on personal relationships.
A Russian media figure, Anton Tsvetkov, organized protests outside the embassies in Moscow. This protest pushed Russia’s narrative of the war in Ukraine and blamed the US for the deaths of children in the Donbas while hiding the Russian government’s role.
