SOURCE– Russia is regrouping its forces in Moscow to resume an offensive in the eastern part of Ukraine. The Colonel-General of the Ukraine Military, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that Russia is regrouping its forces after fighting and losing in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, which means Russia will throw newly formed brigades and divisions from the territory of the Russian Federation.
Russia’s goal in regrouping its forces is to increase the level of combat potential and resume active offensive operations in the eastern part of Ukraine. Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi did not provide complete details about Russian regrouping but he was sure the forces continued heavy artillery and mortar shelling and air assaults. Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi said, under such conditions, it is important for Ukrainian militaries to strengthen their defenses on the threatened lines and advance to the possible happened.
Last February 2022, a town called Kupiansk was seized by a Russian invasion before Ukrainian troops recaptured it in a lightning offensive last September, which embarrassed Moscow. The regional authorities ordered a mandatory evacuation of civilians from near the Kupiansk earlier this month because of the daily Russian shelling. Ukraine must be prepared for the Russian possible offensive.
