High Speeding Man Arrested by Richland County Sheriff’s Department
According to WIS News, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) reports that after a Saturday night pursuit with deputies that reached speeds of more than 140 mph, a man was captured.
Allen Williamson is accused of driving recklessly, failing to stop for blue lights, and obstructing law enforcement.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department Chase High Speeding Man ended in West Columbia
As per the report of Columbia WIS TV, a deputy saw the gray Dodge Charger that Kershaw County had reported missing near the exit for Interstate 20 in Richland County, according to an incident report from Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident report stated that the Charger accelerated when the deputy turned on their blue lights and siren. According to officials, the Charger swerved in and out of traffic, almost colliding with several vehicles, before driving up the entrance ramp into oncoming traffic.
The deputy claimed to have lost sight of the Charger, but a citizen afterward revealed where the Charger had gone. According to the incident report, the Charger hit another deputy’s vehicle after “numerous near misses with passing cars” and blowing through numerous stop signs after the Richland County Sheriff’s Department helicopter located it.
Williamson, according to deputies, was then pursued into Lexington County and fled on foot in a trailer park close to Dreher Road before being apprehended.
