North Texas man has been sentenced to 21 years and ten months in federal prison for crimes related to violent robberies of donut stores.
North Texas Man Sentenced to Federal Prison
North Texas man Kendrick Donnell Jones, Jr., a 24-year-old man from Grand Prairie, was sentenced to 21 years and ten months in federal prison after the North Texas man pled guilty to his involvement in the violent crimes he committed along with his co-conspirator, Tony Sullivan.
According to ATF, the North Texas man had a conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by violent robbery, assisting a co-conspirator, kidnapping; and using, carrying, and brandishing a firearm during the robbery.
North Texas Man and Co-Conspirator in Violence Crime in 2019
WFAA reports that the North Texas man and his co-conspirator, Tony Sullivan, committed the violent crime between April and December 2019. Police noted that the North Texas man and his co-conspirator would beat their victims with a baseball bat and tie them up while holding them at gunpoint.
Further, it was also stated that in July 2019, the North Texas man and Sullivan robbed a donut shop, beat the owner, and ordered him to open a safe. Officials determined that the North Texas man was involved in violent crimes and a series of robberies upon reviewing the footage from the donut shop.
North Texas, Kendrick Donnell Jones, Jr man, and Tony Sullivan are confirmed to have committed at least nine robberies to their violent crimes.
