The Vice President of Taiwan William Lai said that election would be interfere in any Chinese military action to US stopover.
In a recent published article published by Reuters, according to Taiwanese officials, using Lai’s stops in the United States, China may begin military drills as the ground to terrify voters prior to an election next year and instill “fear of war” in them.
According to the island’s official Central News Agency, Lai, the Vice President of Taiwan, arrived safely in Paraguay via New York. Lai said such US trips were routine and China had no reason to use it as an excuse to “verbally and militarily intimidate Taiwan.” During his trip in Paraguay, William Lai, the Vice President of Taiwan, said that any Chinese military action as a result of his stopover in the United States will be taken as an attempt by China to meddle in the island’s election.
China has criticized Lai’s visit to New York and tag him a “troublemaker.” After his visit in New York, Lai, the Vice President of Taiwan, was then expected to stop in San Francisco on his way back to Taipei. Both Taiwan and the US have tried to conceal Lai’s US stops under wraps, and Lai, the Vice President of Taiwan, has stated that “no special arrangements” have been made for him to meet up with US officials.

Lai, the Vice President of Taiwan, is in Paraguay for the inauguration of the country’s new elected president.
According to TBS News, Lai, the Vice President of Taiwan, uploaded photos on his Facebook shaking hands with and conversing with US Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, along with Spain’s King Felipe VI and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who were all in country for the same occasion.
China claims Taiwan has no right to state-to-state relations and has targeted Taiwan’s remaining diplomatic partners.
