The only surviving suspect of Vanessa Guillen’s murder in April 2020 will face her fate in federal court after she pled guilty to covering up the murder of the soldier.

KWTX reports that the suspect of Vanessa Gillen’s Murder, Cecily Aguilar, is the only surviving suspect after her boyfriend, Aaron Robinson who is allegedly the main suspect in the murder reportedly killed himself.
According to Cecily Aguilar’s previous statement, she admitted that she helped her boyfriend dismember Vanessa’s body before burying her remains in shallow graves along the Leon River, which was found later in June 2020. She also stated that her boyfriend had killed himself before officers found the victim’s body.

Suspect of Vanessa Guillen’s Murder Faces Several Charges
FOX7 News reports that Cecily Aguilar pleaded guilty to one count of being an accessory to murder and three counts of making a false statement in November 2020. According to the reports, Aguilar now faces a maximum sentence of 30 years and a $1 million fine.
Reports stated that the subsequent sentencing was supposed to be on April 2023. However, it was moved to August 2023 due to Aguilar’s defense filing a motion to delay and allow the suspect to be testified by a psychiatric expert.
Thus, the subsequent sentencing hearing is scheduled for Monday at 9 a.m. in Waco.
