Attempted Sexual Harassment Filed Against Boris Epshteyn-Trump’s Adviser

In published news from Daily Kos, Boris Epshteyn-Trump’s adviser conviction paid a fine, completed probation, and had his conviction overturned earlier this year after prosecutors dropped charges of attempted sexual abuse, assault-touching, and “harass-repeated acts.” Epshteyn pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct charges in Scottsdale city court after those counts were dismissed. The Arizona Republic broke the initial news of the arrest on Thursday. The adviser to Trump’s 2024 campaign, Epshteyn, declined to respond when reached by The Associated Press.

According to a police report and body-worn camera footage made available under Arizona’s public records legislation, a club security guard called the police early on October 10, 2021, and informed them that ladies had reported Boris Epshteyn-Trump’s adviser conviction for inappropriately touching them. Epshteyn, according to one woman, was particularly hostile toward her 23-year-old sister. In a conversation caught on the officer’s body camera, she added, “He’s been like touching me and my sister all night, especially my sister.” He essentially cornered her, grabbed her, and just generally caused her a lot of discomfort despite our repeated requests for him to stop, he kept caressing her.

The older sister told an officer, “We have a high tolerance for people being weird, but that was above and beyond.” Although security officers eventually escorted Epshteyn out of the bar and to the police, she said that club security informed her they couldn’t eject him since he was a big spender.

As he sat on a sidewalk outside the pub, Epshteyn spoke briefly with police while denying any wrongdoing. Epshteyn admitted to officers, “I have no idea what’s going on and I have no idea who these women are.

Another File Record of Attempted Sexual Harassment Against Epshteyn in 2014

Epshteyn was also charged with assault-touching in 2014 during an altercation at another Scottsdale bar, according to court records. He and the prosecution reached a plea deal, and the conviction was ultimately reversed. Epshteyn, a longstanding Trump advisor, served as one of the candidate’s main surrogates in the 2016 election, frequently appearing on television and briefly holding the position of senior White House adviser before moving on to work as an analyst for Sinclair Broadcast Group. He has also played a significant role in Trump’s ongoing legal battles as a participant and adviser.

Additionally, he traveled with Trump to Washington last week for his initial court appearance on allegations relating to efforts to reverse his defeat to Democrat Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

Epshteyn attended Trump’s arraignment in New York earlier this year on 34 felony counts related to a hush-money case. This was the first time in American history that a former president was charged with a crime.

Timothy Parlatore left the Trump legal team in May, citing disagreements over strategy with Epshteyn as one of his reasons. Regarding the situation in which Trump is suspected of inappropriately removing secret information from the White House, he charged Epshteyn with “doing everything he could to try to block us to prevent us from doing what we could to defend the president.”
