Theresa Stamer was killed in a crash on l-77 last Thursday. The State Police confirmed her death. Theresa Stamer was heading north on l-77 near the mile marker with her daughter when their car ran off the left edge of the roadway. According to police officers, her car was stuck by a tractor-trailer, according to the source.
Theresa Stamer was transported to Raleigh General Hospital but later on, she was pronounced dead. Stamer’s daughter suffered minor injuries and was taken to CAMC to recover. Also, the driver of the tractor-trailer was luckily uninjured. Only Theresa Stamer suffered severe injuries causing her death. According to the investigators, the driver of the tractor-trailer cannot avoid hitting the car of Theresa Stamer after they reviewed the video footage from tractor trailer’s camera system. Also, they added that the investigation is complete.
