Lone Female Hikers Files Charges Against the Man
In conjunction with several accusations from lone female hikers who claimed a man approached them on trails, exposed himself, and masturbated, a 20-year-old man was detained. According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, Glenn Braden was apprehended by deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday after it was claimed that he approached two lone women in a park, exposed himself, and started masturbating.
Around 6 o’clock, the first victim dialed 911. following the confrontation, she fled from the suspect. Only a few minutes later, Braden allegedly approached another lone female hiker, and deputies claimed that he exposed himself to her as well. According to the investigators, Braden is also charged with attempting to snag one of the two victims.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies, and park rangers spent two and a half hours searching the park for the suspect before discovering him hidden in the woods while wearing the same clothing as both victims. Law officials caught Braden after a “short foot chase,” and he was taken into custody.
The sheriff’s office stated that accusations of a guy sexually abusing women on hiking trails in Jefferson County, Colorado, parks began in April. According to detectives, Braden may be to blame for the string of similar reports. The defendant was arrested and sent to the Jefferson County Jail after being charged with three counts of unauthorized sexual contact and five counts of indecent exposure. His mugshot is being withheld by the investigators until multiple victim photo lineups can be organized.
