No matter what time of year you choose to travel to the US. The Virgin Islands will likely have warm temperatures. You can go there during their dry season to avoid the rain, though. December through May, regarded as the dry season, are the ideal months to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands.

December to May Dry Season, the best time of the Year to Spend Holiday and Vacation at Virgins Island

The dry season is when most visitors choose to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands because it offers pleasant, sunny weather with little chance of hurricanes. These months account for the vast majority of island tourism, which reaches its peak in March as a result of spring break. Rainfall is quite scarce at this time, averaging around 1-2 inches each month.

The average temperature between December and May is 85 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit, which is often cooler than the temperature during the wetter months. No of the season, swimming in the water is always comfortable. Fortunately, you occasionally experience winds that keep you feeling cool. According to the National Weather Service, the temperature drops slightly at night, averaging between 71 and 78 degrees. Worst Time: From June through November, during the hurricane and rainy seasons.

As it could interfere with your outdoor activities like ziplining amid the course, the rain may end up wrecking some of your plans. In the U.S. Virgin Islands, the hurricane season begins in June and lasts through November. These months are not recommended for travel because of the genuine risk of hurricanes on the islands. If you have plans to travel during certain months, it doesn’t mean you have to change them; you just need to be aware of the weather conditions. By traveling after the end of the dry season, you can avoid those two issues. You almost certainly will pay significantly less if you travel during the rainy season, but you should be aware of the possibility of hurricanes.
