Rents Increases Slowed Down For First Time In 2 Years

It is been tough for American renters due to the monthly price increases in house rent, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Rents and groceries are expensive that you can save even a little penny. But recently good news was out the monthly rental increases continue to slow down. It leads to a new normal for Americans. It is a big help to everyone to lessen their cost of living.

According to Zumper’s latest National Rent Report, the national median month of July 2023 one-bedrooms increased just 0.1% month over month and 3.9% year-over-year it is the smallest increase in more than 2 years. Due to rental demand the price increases continue to fall from pandemic highs. But the Zumper CEO Anthemos Georgiades noted that even if the price increases continued softening, Americans should not expect to see rents will be lessened anytime soon.

But plenty of other cities offered lovely homes with a lower cost of living that can make you save money. Take note, rent relief will spread in the United States.
