A 25-year-old Eagle player Josh Sills has been acquitted by a jury of raping and kidnapping a former high school classmate in December 2019. Jurors delivered a verdict after almost three hours of deliberating last Friday. Josh Sills showed no emotions as the decision was read out. After he was given an opportunity to say thank you, he said that he have done nothing wrong.
But a friend of a victim testified against Josh Sills that he raped her. They saw the victim scared and shaken. The victim told that Josh Sills raped her and forced her to do oral sex inside his truck. Josh Sills forced her head down onto his penis, she even can’t breathe. Josh Sills tried to unzip her zipper to touch her vagina. But the victim fights back and escapes in the truck away to Josh Sills. But the decision still Josh Sills was not guilty, according to Law & Crime.
After he was found not guilty, the Eagles organization wanted him to return to the team. But Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost still believed the victim but ‘criminal convictions require proof beyond a reasonable doubt’, he said and said thanks to the jury for doing their duty under the law.
