Guadalupe Zavala Lopez Arrested In Connection With A Dead Newborn Baby Found At Houston Gas Station

Houston police arrested Guadalupe Zavala Lopez earlier this year at a bus station in Brownsville in connection with a dead newborn baby girl found in the Houston gas station.

Is She The Mother?

Last April 2, a customer went to use the restroom at a gas station where she found a dead newborn baby inside the toilet. Authorities claimed that the person of interest was the mother of a newborn baby. The surveillance footage showed that a woman named Guadalupe Zavala Lopez was seen getting out of her car and walking through the front door of the filling station. She entered the store and went back to her car then drove away, it appeared that she gave birth in the restroom.

After searching they found Guadalupe Zavala Lopez in a bus station attempting to flee to Mexico,  according to a press release issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. They made an arrest on her at that time in connection with a dead newborn found at the gas station. They need to speak to her if what is her relation to the newborn baby.

Right now, homicide charges against her were not been filed in Houston. But still, the investigation is ongoing. Regarding to the newborn’s cause of death is still pending with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
