Death Penalty Against Dad
A 32-year-old Joshua Alexander Farmer allegedly stalked and killed his wife Kaylah Farmer. He shot his wife more than 12 times to prevent her from testifying against him for domestic violence against her and their children. Police said that Farmer emptied his gun during the shooting incident. Investigators believed that Joshua Alexander Farmer spent his day following his wife before finally deciding to kill her when she stopped for gas on her way home from work.
The autopsy revealed over 25 bullet fragments were removed from Kaylah Farmer’s body. A witness reported that they heared about 30 or 40 total shots being fired during the shooting incident. Before the shooting incident the wife was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Joshua Alexander Farmer. She weared excessive amounts of makeup to hide the bruises on her face and neck from being punched and choked, according to Jerry Lambe.
Currently, Joshua Alexander Farmer is facing multipe charges: counts of criminal confinement, intimidation using a deadly weapon, domestic battery, strangulation, pointing a firearm at another, and interference with reporting a crime in connection with the May incident. He is being held without bond and will back in court on August 17 for a pretrial conference.
