Gilgo Beach Killer’s Wife Says ‘Children Cry Themselves To Sleep’ After Police Spent 12 Days Searching For Evidence To Their House

Gilgo Beach killer Rex Heuermann’s wife said that they had been left traumatized for the past few weeks after investigators searched for evidence in the alleged slayings. Their two children cry themselves to sleep.

What Happened Mama?

Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann was arrested last July 13 after three sex workers were found on a Long Island Beach last 2010. His wife Asa Ellerup, a 59-year-old, said that their two children cry themselves to sleep because they were traumatized after the investigators spent 12 days in their house searching for evidence connected to the murder.

Asa Ellerup filed a divorce after Rex Heuermann was arrested less than a week. They have two children namely: Victoria Heuermann 26-year-old and Christopher Sheridan 33-year-old who has special needs. According to the wife she was away from home when the murder incident happened. After the investigators turned upside down and took apart their home she don’t has a bed to sleep in.  Her house was messed up after the investigators left all the pictures thrown all over the place and their couch was shredded. Everything was messed including her backyard, she spent $3,000 on the greenhouse.

Her son who has special needs doesn’t understand what happened and as a mother, she felt worried and said the important is they were together. She felt not human because of what happened. Her husband Rex Heuermann will be back in court this Tuesday for the brief hearing.
