Police officers responded to a 911 call from a woman believing that someone was breaking into her apartment and found two people and a dog dead in Ocean County murder-suicide on July 19, 2023.

News Alert: Two Unknown People And Dog Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide
Last Saturday morning a woman called 911 because she noticed that someone was breaking into her apartment. When the police officer responded to a call and arrived at the residence around 5:10 a.m. and had to force entry into the apartment. They found one woman and a dog shot to death also a 52-year-old man suffered from a gunshot wound to the head.
According to the article by Kathleen Hopkins, the man was unconscious when the police arrived and transported him to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. The investigation by the police and prosecutor’s Major Crime Unit indicated that the 52-year-old man was the one who shot the woman and the dog before turning the gun on himself.
Later on, the man died after being pulled unconscious at the hospital they did not even know the identity of the man and either to the woman. They do not have information as of now if the two were related or not.
