Several frauds have been exposed related to coronavirus stimulus check scams since Congress passed a massive $2 trillion relief of package to help Americans.

Be Aware of These Scams
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress approved three rounds of financial assistance for Americans. As a result, several VERIFY viewers reported receiving emails that claims to be from the IRS which the IRS denied and announced that it was a stimulus check scam.
The emails encourage the recipients to submit a document in order to get a tax refund. In addition to this, the emails would also inform that the third round of financial assistance from the IRS can already be claimed as long as the recipients share their information.
The emails that were received looked real as they have the IRS logos at the top bottom, however, if you look closely, the emails that were sent were suggested as fake because it was sent by an account with the name Princess.

Avoid Getting Scam
These stimulus check scams may steal your confidential information if you are not careful enough. One must be aware that only clicking a link in the mail can make hackers get a hold of your information.
Once a hacker gets a hold of your information, they can deplete your bank account within a minute. For this not to happen, you must not click on a suspicious link or open a suspicious email and delete it in an instant without opening them.
