According to authorities, a guy from Snyder County struck a tree with his car on Tuesday and ejected out the driver’s side window before being declared dead at the scene.

According to the reports from Newsbreak, a car crash accident was reported to Selinsgrove State Police, authorities says that a resident of McClure named Anthony M. Snook, 34 years old was traveling east on W. Specht Street around 11:15 p.m. in McClure. Authorities claim that the driver totally lost control of his 1998 Lincoln Continental at the time of the accident. The vehicle left the path and crashes his car with a tree. According to Trooper Derek Gill, the collision led the car to spin out and strike a second tree on the opposite side of the road. Then, Snook was thrown out the driver-side window.
Police discovered that Snook had been drinking before the collision and had been moving at a high speed. Snook was found he was not using a seat belt while driving, according to Trooper Gill.
The Snyder County Coroner’s Office and a Beaver Springs ambulance arrived on the scene, but the Snook was already declared dead because of the high impact during the accident.
