A youngster claimed that his car was on fire, before 12:05 am on Sunday, SA Police and Country Fire Service crews were summoned to Plains Road in Aldinga.
When patrols arrived, SA Police claimed they spotted flames shooting from a Ford Ute’s back, but the owner allegedly claimed the engine had overheated while being driven. According to a statement from the police, “Upon closer examination, officers could see that both rear tires had popped off the rims.” “According to police, the driver had performed a burnout, punctured both tires, and then tried to drive home on the vehicle’s rims.”
