Double Murderer Pleads Guilty in Northern Kentucky

A double murderer pleads guilty after he killed his ex-girlfriend and her friend who suffered multiple hits to the head resulting in their deaths. The brother of the victim said that they have an on-and-off relationship.

Double Murderer Case in NKY

A double murderer Eric Lightfoot who killed two women pleads guilty in NKY. 59-year-old Sheila Ruf and 61-year-old Diana Eddy were found dead inside 737 Ann St. near The Brighton. Police at the scene said the authorities arrived at the residence to follow up on a missing person report. According to the published report of Jake Ryle, the property manager let the officer in to check inside and found two women at the crime scene who suffered multiple hits to the head resulting in their deaths.

Ruf filed a protection order at the Campbell County Court but the court documents show that Ruf dismissed the protection order one month later.  About a month after Ruf dismissed the order, Eddy texted her daughter that she was with Ruf and Eric Lightfoot and that he might do something bad. Her daughter reported to the police the next day but officers cannot get into the home. After three days the officer found Sheila Ruf and Diana Eddy dead.

Ruf’s brother Troy Harper filed a case against Eric Lightfoot. He can’t imagine that Lightfoot will kill his sister. A double murderer case in NKY. Harper said that Sheila Ruf has three daughters and he wanted people will pay attention to her story before it’s too late.
