Tuesday afternoon at 2:48 p.m. the West Champaign Credit Union was robbed. According to the report, the suspect was described as a black man with a medium build. His face was hidden by a black face mask. Upon arrival, the officers were told that the suspect entered with a handgun and demanded money.
According to the published report of Bradley Zimmerman, no injuries had been reported. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left. Police officers reported that there is no evidence and the gun was discharged during the commission of the robbery. There was no arrest had been made.
Police officers continue to investigate and look for more witnesses and video footage about the robbery at West Champaign Credit Union.
