Free Help of Tax in Montgomery County – Virtual and In-Person Options Available!

According to the DC News Now, in Montgomery County, Maryland, low-income families can get free help with their taxes through the Community Action Agency’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This free help is for families with a total income of $64,000 or less. The program handles current and past tax returns, and can also help with amended returns if needed.

You can get help through virtual appointments on Mondays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. To set up a virtual appointment, just give a call to (240) 777-1123. If you prefer an in-person appointment, those are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. To book an in-person appointment, you can either dial (240) 777-1123 or schedule online.
