As the community mourns, Union Funeral Home – Lytwyn & Grillo has initiated a donation drive, seeking $25,000 to help with the financial burden of funeral and cemetery expenses on the surviving relatives.
Plea for Financial Support
The Alarcon family’s lives were cut short when they were discovered with gunshot wounds inside their Lincrest Terrace home. The Union County Sheriff’s Department revealed that Andrea Alarcon, the mother, was identified as the perpetrator, taking the lives of her husband and two daughters before ending her own.
Union Funeral Home is requesting help from the community after this tragic occurrence. The funeral home hopes to raise $25,000 to lessen the financial burden on the bereaved family, who now have unanticipated burial expenses to deal with.
According to public documents, the Alarcon family was having financial issues, as evidenced by the foreclosure of their home. The family was about to be evicted from the property when the Tragedy occurred. The property had been sold in a sheriff’s sale in October 2023. Over $6,000 has already been donated to the fundraiser by the local community, demonstrating how quickly they responded.
