The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 2:24 a.m. EST on Saturday in effect until noon EST for Kalkaska and Crawford counties.
The weather service states, “Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.”
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” explains the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
