FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Saturday evening will be calm, outside of a few flurries with temperatures dropping down into the mid-to-low 10s on Sunday morning. Temperatures will remain cold on Sunday through the rest of the week with lows in the mid-to-upper 10s and highs in the mid-to-upper 20s.

We’ve issued a First Alert Weather Day for Sunday evening through Monday, primarily for places south of Fort Wayne. Snow is expected to begin late Sunday afternoon, then start to pick up in intensity Sunday evening through early Monday morning, with the snow wrapping up Monday before lunchtime.

Snow totals 1 inch or less for LaGrange, Steuben, Northern Kosciusko, Noble, Dekalb, northern Defiance counties.
Snow totals 1 to 2 inches possible for Central, southern Kosciusko, Whitley, Allen Paulding, Northern and Central Wabash, Northern and Central Huntington, Northern and Central Wells, Northern and Central Adams, and Van Wert Counties.
Snow totals of 2 to 4 inches possible for Southern Wabash, Southern Huntington, Southern Wells, Southern Adams, Grant, Blackford, Jay and Mercer counties.
