On Saturday at 3:11 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from noon until Sunday 6 p.m. The advisory is for Fremont Area as well as Knox, Antelope, Pierce, Madison, Stanton and Washington counties.
The NWS says, “Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.”
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” explains the NWS. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
