Videos show apparent tornadoes moving through Mississippi



FRANKLIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – An apparent tornado moved through Franklin County on Saturday, December 28.

Karla Wallace, a WJTV 12 News viewer, submitted a video that showed the storm moving through the McCall Creek area.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) reported sections of the eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. 84 in Franklin County were blocked due to fallen trees. They said the roadway has reopened, but utility crews are still working in the area.

According to PowerOutage.us, 3,194 customers are without power in Franklin County.

Another viewer, Barry Pickering, shared video of a tornado moving near the Lincoln County/Franklin County line around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
