According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Shreveport, the storm will primarily affect the southeastern two-thirds of the region, including areas along the I-30 corridor. Precipitation chances range from 50% to 80%, with the highest risks for severe weather in cities like Natchitoches, Monroe, and Shreveport.
Residents are urged to remain vigilant, with NWS placing the region under a “Slight to Enhanced” risk zone. This level signals an increased likelihood of hazardous conditions. Late Saturday through early Sunday morning poses the greatest danger.
