According to the National Weather Service (NWS), patchy dense fog will lift by midday, but rain will intensify by the afternoon, primarily east of Interstate 35. Looking ahead, Saturday will bring mostly cloudy skies and a high near 54 degrees, with light southwest winds making outdoor conditions comfortable. Sunday will clear up with plenty of sunshine and a high near 53, offering a pleasant day for post-holiday travel or outdoor activities.
For those planning to hit the roads, Monday remains partly sunny with a high of 55 degrees before colder air arrives Tuesday, dropping temperatures to the mid-30s by New Year’s Eve. Patchy fog could return early next week, making it vital to stay updated on weather conditions.
