Eastern Pennsylvania – Eastern Pennsylvania residents can expect dry and tranquil conditions through Friday, but a wintry mix may arrive Friday night. Overnight lows tonight will range from the low teens in northern areas to the mid-20s in the southeast.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly, high temperatures on Thursday will climb to the upper 30s and lower 40s. Dry weather will persist during the day Friday. By Friday night, a system may bring snow, sleet, and freezing rain to the region, creating hazardous travel conditions.
The NWS advises residents to monitor updated forecasts and prepare for potential snow and ice. Local officials recommend caution while driving, as untreated roads may become slick during the overnight hours.
